We understand that asbestos management can be a daunting task, especially for those who are not familiar with the legislation. That’s why we offer our clients our expertise and guidance to navigate the complex process.

Our team of experts can help you develop a comprehensive asbestos policy and management plan that meets all legal requirements and ensures the safety of your employees and the public. We understand that managing asbestos can be costly, which is why we strive to make sure that our clients’ limited budgets are spent wisely.

We can help you prioritise your expenditures and make informed decisions regarding asbestos management. With our assistance, you can rest assured that your legal responsibilities are fully met and that your employees and the public are protected from the risks of asbestos exposure.

Your legal responsibilities.

The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 place responsibilities on everyone to take into account the risks from asbestos during their work activities and to mitigate those risks as far as reasonably practicable. You must consider your employees, your colleagues and the public when considering your obligations.

Asbestos Surveys &
Air Testing

Broadland Group is a UKAS Accredited Inspection Body and Testing Laboratory, which means we can provide asbestos surveys in line with HSG264 tailored to any given situation as well as analysing any samples in our in-house laboratory and conducting air monitoring to determine levels of airborne respirable fibres in line with HSG248. The information gleaned from these activities can be used to formulate appropriate management strategies to ensure full compliance with CAR2012.

Asbestos Removal

Some asbestos materials cannot be managed in-situ and may need to be removed, or in some way made safe. This work is often complex and hazardous and therefore requires highly-skilled professionals equipped with a host of specialist tools and machinery in order to meet the legal requirements, but don’t panic – Broadland Group can manage the entire process for you from identification of the asbestos material through to the final air testing and certification.

Full Turnkey Solution

Rather than trying to handle it themselves, many businesses find it simpler and more cost-effective to appoint Broadland Group as their asbestos consultant and permit us to provide a one-stop shop for all their asbestos-related requirements.

We can look after surveys, sampling, emergency callouts, removals, air-testing, on-going guidance and advice, and all other aspects of asbestos management on the agreement of a mutually agreeable contract. We provide contact details for your staff to use whenever necessary and liaise closely with senior staff to ensure property portfolios are managed in line with CAR2012 and that appropriate decisions are taken swiftly in the light of high quality information and expert knowledge. Let us take the stress out of asbestos compliance.
