Commercial Asbestos Surveys & Air Testing

Broadland Group is a UKAS Accredited Inspection Body and Testing Laboratory, which means we can provide asbestos surveys in line with HSG264 tailored to any given situation as well as analysing any samples in our in-house laboratory and conducting air monitoring to determine levels of airborne respirable fibres in line with HSG248. The information gleaned from these activities can be used to formulate appropriate management strategies to ensure full compliance with CAR2012.

Our Project Managers will help you decide what type of survey you need, be it a management survey to comply with Regulation 4 of CAR2012, or a localised refurbishment survey to meet the requirements of Regulation 5 or a full demolition survey prior to building a new premises on a brownfield site – our experts known what is required and can plan and execute it for you.

Our qualified, trained and experienced surveyors will inspect every functional space looking for asbestos materials and will produce a detailed report including photos, plans, analysis certificates along with risk assessments and recommendations for every item found.

We can also provide air testing for respirable fibres in a host of different situations. It may be prudent for you to know the background levels present in one of your properties prior to works being undertaken there, or simply for information.

Reassurance testing can be carried out during and after non-licensed asbestos works such as textured coating or floor tile removal to give confidence to those occupying the building afterwards that works were done properly and that levels are acceptable prior to their return.

Of course, we also conduct the mandatory testing following licensed asbestos works and can also conduct leak testing while any asbestos enclosures are still active and works are in progress, to give added comfort those in the vicinity. All certification is provided for your records

Some asbestos materials cannot be managed in-situ and may need to be removed, or in some way made safe.
