Training

Asbestos training that suits your company needs.

Regulation 10 of CAR 2012 dictates what kind of asbestos training your staff must have (if any) in order to carry out their work activities, Broadland Group can assess that need for you and provide the relevant IATP Accredited course to ensure compliance.

Broadland Group offers IATP Accredited training in either Asbestos Awareness or Non-licensed Work with Asbestos (including Notifiable Non-licensed Work). We can also provide bespoke courses tailored to your company’s specific activities.

Our trainers have extensive field experience to back up their technical knowledge and are able to deliver engaging, informative courses that not only cover the syllabus as recommended by the HSE but also add personal touches and real-world scenarios to help those taking the course fully grasp what is being taught.

Training courses can be delivered at our Norwich, Wickford or Chesterfield offices, or at a location of your choice.

Bespoke Training

Non-licenced Work with Asbestos training.

If you or members of your workforce intend to carry out low-risk, small-scale work with asbestos materials then they must sit this course to comply with Regulation 10 of CAR2012. They will learn the basics of the law surrounding such work, how to use the various pieces of equipment necessary (including PPE and RPE), decontamination procedures, and – crucially – what work they cannot do.

Asbestos awareness training.

Anyone who may come into contact with asbestos during their work must sit this course to comply with Regulation 10 of CAR2012. They will learn what asbestos is, what it looks like, where it is found and what harm it can do.

Bespoke asbestos company training.

It may be the case that you or your workforce already has the relevant asbestos training in place to comply with regulation 10 of CAR2012 but you want to go a step further and undertake specialist training in a specific area such as the taking of potentially asbestos-containing samples, the use of PPE/RPE, or managing asbestos in a small business, for example.

Whatever the need may be, we can both design the course and deliver it.
